About Tanvi

I’m a Maths tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I specialise in helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. Whether it's explaining a tricky theorem or guiding through a challenging proof, I focus on making complex concepts easy to understand. My approach emphasises clear explanations, structured reasoning, and logical presentation. I work closely with students to develop the ability to write coherent mathematical arguments. From university essays to research papers and presentations, I support learners in organising their ideas and expressing them with clarity. I guide students in crafting precise definitions, using proper notation, and constructing sound conclusions. In our sessions, we also practice presenting solutions effectively—both verbally and in writing. I encourage questioning and open discussion to build deeper understanding. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Maths is clear, systematic, and results-oriented. I focus on building strong fundamentals while helping students develop mental maths techniques for speed and accuracy. Whether it’s algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or statistics, I make sure each topic is broken down into simple, understandable steps. I emphasise estimation skills, quick problem-solving hacks, and numeric shortcuts that save time during exams. My sessions are structured to improve both understanding and speed. I also integrate techniques like number sense training, Vedic maths tricks, and pattern recognition to boost mental agility. For Engineer-in-Training students and data enthusiasts, I incorporate real-world applications and data-based examples to make learning more engaging. Consistent feedback and practice are key parts of my method. I help learners track progress and fine-tune their strategies. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, not failures. Together, we’ll strengthen your confidence in solving any numerical challenge. My goal is to support you in excelling beyond classroom expectations.
