Smart work is important as per my experience.
Firstly, i try to understand the student and there tough pitch point ( where they are finding difficulties in the subject). Further, as my experience i believe to guide the student from base for better knowledge, to get them on track. And later i would prefer to get into the actual subject or topic. Which includes strategies, key words, key techniques, creating stories which relate to subject for better understanding and learning. Which results in smart work and deeper understanding of topics. Smart working for grades.
