About Cagri

I am a CEGEP student with experience tutoring family friends and classmates. I’ve taken AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus AB, AP Physics 2, AP Biology and AP English Composition and Literature. I’ve skipped 2 years in Math, and 1 year in other subjects, finishing the high school math curriculum two years ahead of my age. I am an honour roll student who has participated in Math and Chemistry competitions since childhood.

About the lesson

I attempt to teach in a student-centered fashion, adapting for my student’s needs and preferences. I’m especially skilled in inquiry based teaching, in which I present questions with real world examples and applications to simplify topics that students may find difficult. A typical lesson would begin with me discussing with the student on how they would like to be thought, along with the specific problems/topics they are struggling with. I would begin by teaching the basic, keystone concepts of the aforementioned topics before moving on to more difficult details and examples.

My classes are meant primarily for high-school (7th to 11th grade) and 12th grade/CEGEP students. Additionally, I can teach some university-level math or physics classes such as multivariable calculus, differential equations, and mechanics.
