About Annabel
Hi! I’m a 19-year-old tutor from Hampshire, and I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in Maths and Chemistry. I’m friendly, approachable, and always aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I know how overwhelming school can sometimes feel, so my goal is to make learning more manageable and even enjoyable! Whether you're aiming to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or just make sense of a tricky topic, I’m here to help. Outside of tutoring, I’m a keen musician with Grade 8 in violin, piano, and singing. I love performing and believe that learning—like music—is all about patience, practice, and persistence. I also enjoy sports such as swimming and athletics, which help me stay focused and energised. I work with students from Key Stage 3 up to A-level (or equivalent), and tailor my lessons to each individual’s needs. Hi! I'm a dedicated and experienced tutor offering personalised Maths and Chemistry lessons tailored to help students build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve their academic goals. I focus on making complex concepts clear and manageable. I break topics down into simple steps and encourage active participation through questions and practice problems. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and needs, whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, providing enough time to explain topics thoroughly, work through problems, and address any questions. For younger students or those with shorter attention spans, I can offer shorter sessions if needed. I am studying a degree in Chemistry and Medicinal Science at Southampton University and have several years of experience tutoring students from KS3 to A-level. After achieving A*A*A in my A-levels, I’m familiar with exam technique and know what examiners look for, helping students not just learn, but perform well in assessments. I tutor students aged 11–18, covering Key Stage 3, GCSE/IGCSE, and A-level (Chemistry only). Whether you're struggling with the basics or aiming for top exam marks, I’m here to help you succeed.

Annabel has really helped me by tutoring me with Maths and Chemistry. I used to really struggle on the topic Electrolysis, which now i really understand and am able to now get full marks on exam questions to do with this topic. I am currently studying for my GCSEE Mocks as I am in year 10, and she has definetely gotten me closer to getting a Grade 9! (A**)
