I am currently a chemistry TA at a high school. My teaching approach is very hands-on. I believe learning comes the best through trying a lot of practice problems. In a typical lesson plan we first set the goal we are trying to achieve, do a warm-up/review from past material, introduce the new material through visual examples and giving an explanation before jumping into practice problems. First few problems would be assisted, but then a student would need to work independently to see if they are processing material correctly. I am targeting students in middle and high school, I have professional experience in chemistry as well mathematics. I can teach mathematics from algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus.
