I am a student that is currently on a gap year and will be studying medicine next year. I enjoy teaching and run my own tutoring business where I tutor children from 11+ up until GCSE in both English and mathematics.

My teaching methodology varies depending on the age group. From experience, I have found that younger students prefer diagrams and the use of colour. Whereas the older students prefer a more lecture based lesson. Where I teach the main content and then we go through questions. I believe that open class communications are also very useful so group work is good to get everyone’s ideas together.
