About Nienke
I have worked at ZUYD study counseling and have given around 10 pupils extra tuition from primary school level to secondary level. I have only received positive responses to my teaching method. I also give tips on how you best learn, how you can tackle assignments and much more! I mainly look after the student himself and make an individual plan for this student, because nobody needs the same tutoring. Together we will find out how you, the student, can best be helped!

My method of teaching is first to talk to the student who, according to him / her, has the pitfalls. What does the student find difficult or what does the student want to work on? The student can indicate to me what he or she wants. Does he / she want tips on how you can best learn, tips on how to plan, tips on handling assignments, etc. Lessons last between 1 and 2 hours. I do my best for the students, but in return I expect them to also do their best.
I can also often notice underlying problems. For example, if a student achieves failures in mathematics, this does not necessarily mean that the student is not good at maths. This is because the student may also have trouble reading assignments correctly or planning mathematics.
I always give feedback to the parents about how the tutoring went and / or if I noticed certain things about the student.
