About Siham
I studied film production in Mel Hoppenhein School of Cinema, during which I had the opportunity to write, self produce, direct and edit a feature length film. This experience has taught me important things about independent filmmaking and getting started in the industry as a young artist. I also gained knowledge in film criticism and analysis, which I apply every day to my practice, as well as worked varied positions on film shoots (from camera assistant to art director). I'm a firm believer that making a film does not require a big crew or great budget, but confidence in your voice as an artist and storytelling skills.

Filmmaking is a tough industry, and I believe it is highly important to learn how to do things yourself, and become confident in your skills enough to jump in.
I propose you workshops from screenwriting and idea development to more technical subjects like lighting and cameras, as well as lessons on film analysis and theory.
I will adapt our lessons to your personal needs and goals, whether they tend to film theory, screenwriting, directing a crew, or simply finding the motivation to start your projects. As an artistic practice, filmmaking is closely related to you, that is why my lessons are very person and process oriented. Those lessons are for people from middle School, high school, or higher levels of education who have no to very little knowledge in cinema and would like to start learning.
