About Jennifer

I am an admitted solicitor. In high school I undertook Physics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Maths, English, Accounting and Spanish. I have been offering tutoring for 3 years already and been helping students with their skills.

I have worked closely with many students and have helped them improve their skills and grades! We first ensure they are comfortable with the topic they are covering in class, and then we work on expanding their knowledge. I work through the art of repetition and challenging questions. I have found that many students believe that just doing the questions the teacher gives them is not enough to master the topic. I will always supply my students with extra resources and notes taken during our class. The family is also able too contact me throughout the week if the student has any other questions, or if they require any further work to continue working in between lessons.

I have experience of working with students who have learning disabilities and might find learning a bit more challenging. Although I am very gentle with them, I will also have expectations that they will need to adhere if they wish to succeed.

Weekday sessions are $65 p/h and weekend sessions are $70 p/h. Travelling fee 5km outside of Doncaster is an additional $5

About the lesson

I approach my students and ask what topic they are working on in class and what they need help with. I make sure all questions are covered and make sure they feel confident with their skills after the lesson. If they are ahead I like working with them on new topics to expand their knowledge.
