Hi there! I’m Lynx Lye, your modern and engaging Chinese language tutor. Many students find Chinese challenging—especially when faced with confusing rhetorical devices, tricky classical poetry (古文/古诗), or strict pronunciation rules. My goal is to make learning Chinese structured, intuitive, and highly rewarding.
What We Will Master Together:️ Standard Pronunciation & Hanyu Pinyin: We will target and correct common local accent habits, building confident, natural, and accurate Mandarin speaking and reading skills. Rhetorical Devices (修辞手法): From personification (比拟) to exaggeration (夸张) and parallelism (排比), I break down these concepts using relatable, real-world examples so students can effortlessly spot them in comprehensions and apply them in essays. Classical Literature & Poetry (古文古诗): No more boring memorization! We decode classical prose like a storybook, mastering essential vocabulary and context. My classes are interactive, tailored to the student's pace, and designed to prove that Chinese doesn't have to be intimidating.
