About Bian
I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a mixed Chinese and Bulgarian background. I studied economics at Fudan University in China and trained in screen acting at MetFilm London. That combination shapes everything I do: the economist gives me structure; the actor gives me empathy and the ability to truly listen. I have been teaching for six years — both privately and at middle schools in Bulgaria. That is real classroom professionalism, not casual tutoring. Many of my students now hold C1 certificates or study at universities in China. Results matter to me. I am also consistent by nature. I have danced for almost ten years. I have played table tennis and basketball for almost ten years. These are not just hobbies — they are proof that I commit, I show up, and I improve over time. I bring that same reliability to every lesson. I love classical and contemporary movies, plays, and music. Culture is not an extra — it is part of how I teach. Every lesson is 50 minutes, online from London. I teach teenagers and adults from A1 to C1. I listen carefully. I communicate to bring us closer. You will never feel rushed or unheard.

As an actor, I understand people. I listen beyond words – to hesitation, to fear, to the rhythm of how someone learns. That means I can relate to you and know what you actually need, not just what a textbook says. As an actor, I also draw on multiple practitioners (Stanislavski, Meisner, and Laban) to help you stop translating in your head and start responding naturally — just like in a scene. As an economist from Fudan University, my teaching method is highly structured. Every 50-minute online lesson from London has a clear arc: warm-up, new material, applied practice, and review with written takeaways. Chaos is not kindness. Structure plus empathy is where real progress lives. Many of my students have gone on to pass C1 certificates or study in China. Six years of experience. For motivated teens and adults from A1 to C1.
