About Joshua
Starting a session involves a gentle assessment of where your voice sits today, recognising that vocal health is the foundation of everything we do. Because I hold an MMus Voice degree, we explore head and chest voice mechanics while utilising my free access to breathing and warm-up exercise notes to ensure your instrument stays safe. We move through rhythm and phrasing, sight singing, and diction, always working towards the goal of performance confidence. It is a pleasure to help you sing with grace and ease.

"Assuming you are looking to refine your voice, I often think about the physical act of singing. 13 years of experience have taught me that performance fear is common.
I work with absolute beginners and performance-focused students alike. My MMus Voice background shapes every technical correction I offer. Having taught 432 students, I recognise when a singer needs more range or better vibrato. Music has been my life for as long as I can remember."
