Hello! My name is Zhiting Chen ( Mandy), and I am currently pursuing a Master of Teaching degree with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. My academic journey, coupled with my passion for teaching, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

About the lesson

2. Introduction (10 minutes):
- Introduce colors and shapes using flashcards and objects.
- Pronounce each color and shape in Mandarin and have children repeat.

- Color and Shape Hunt: Children find objects around the room that match the colors and shapes introduced.
- Engage in a sorting activity where children group objects by color and shape.

4. Story Time (10 minutes):
- Read a picture book that features colors and shapes, discussing the images and reinforcing Mandarin vocabulary.
