About Méabh
Hello! My name is Méabh, I am from Ireland and I recently graduated with a Master's in Mathematics. I worked for four years as a Mathematics tutor alongside my studies and developed a real love for tutoring maths! Whether you want to improve your grade, pass an exam, build confidence in arithmetic, or just foster some natural curiosity, I am excited to take you on a mathematical journey!

I am a recent graduate of Mathematics, having completed my Master's in May 2026. While studying at university, I worked at a tutoring centre for four years. I gained experience working with a wide range of abilities, levels and educational needs.
For students below exam-level (Key Stages 1 - 3), my lessons focus on learning how to think mathematically. How do you approach a problem? How do you try and solve it? What happens if your approach doesn't work? I aim to foster the natural curiosity we all have about the world around us and show how mathematics can be our greatest tool. Further, I offer homework support, where we can review mathematics work from school for deeper understanding.
For exam-level students, I request the students provide a past paper completed under exam conditions. This is vital for gauging the level of the student, and creating a tailored study plan. Using this method along with weekly hour-long classes, I have seen great success among previous students. Frequently, students improve by 2-3 grades by exam time.
