About Ethan
I've been a self-taught artist for pretty much my entire life, teaching myself music, tattoos, drawing, and painting, and I never plan to stop learning. My personal style is not something often seen, as I blend fine arts with high contrast in my drawings, vivid colors in my paintings, and bridge it all together using graffiti and mixed mediums. I've been obsessed with being an artist for as long as I can remember, and struggling with ADHD, I've come to realize that art is really the only thing that excites me and keeps me going. I've never wanted or qualified for an office job. I've tried to start various businesses but none kept my attention for very long. Creation is the only thing that has never lost my attention.

I'm a relaxed teacher, encouraging experimentation and iteration. I'll teach you what I know on developing your own style, through curiosity and an open mind to explore. I aim to grow your understanding of how artworks are formed, but also how the world around us is formed. Looking deeply into the shapes, lights and shadows in the world around us, and how to capture that beauty in your work. We'll draw and/or paint together and work our way through fundamentals, and well as break down my entire process of how I create, but also learn how to build your own process. The way an artist does something is never set in stone. It can always be changed, adapted or improved upon, and that is the basis of my teachings. Learning is a never ending game. Through learning to be a better artist, we learn to live a more full and meaningful life.
