About Yanting

Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker who grew up in China with a strong academic background in the language. I’ve excelled in Chinese exams from a young age, and I bring a deep appreciation for classical poetry, idioms, and the beauty of the language into my teaching. Rather than using boring slides, I love storytelling and making lessons come alive through vivid, memorable examples. My goal is to make Chinese not just understandable—but enjoyable and meaningful. With a background in psychology, I bring empathy, patience, and encouragement to each lesson. I’m a good listener, and I tailor my teaching to suit your pace, needs, and goals. Whether you're learning for school, travel, personal interest, or business, I’m here to support you. I’m also fluent in English, which helps me explain complex Chinese ideas clearly and bridge the gap for learners from different backgrounds.
