About Emma
I am a retired math teacher. I have experience teaching math and science both in middle/high school. I also tutored for two years at Mathnasium every math subject from K-12 grade. My students always did very well in standardized test. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Mathematics. I have experience working with students in the Autistic spectrum

I use differentiated instruction. Everyone learning style is different. Some students learn by listening, other by seeing and still some others need manipulatives. I like to work examples (modeling) with the students before I set them free to work on their own. I like the challenge of teaching students that have difficulties in math.
