About Tianyi

Hi there! I’m He Tianyi, a native Chinese speaker from China but a Singaporean, currently studying at the University of Sydney. Chinese is my mother tongue—I grew up in China until primary school, and my mother is from China, so I’ve been immersed in the language and culture from a young age. I achieved an A1 in Cambridge GCE O-Level Chinese, and I’m really excited to share my passion for the language with you. I want to teach because I believe that learning Chinese can open doors to incredible opportunities and help you connect with a rich and vibrant culture. My goal is to make learning Chinese enjoyable and tailored to your needs, helping you build confidence and proficiency in the language. Let’s work together to make your Chinese learning experience both fun and rewarding!

About the lesson

Hey there! I’m He Tianyi, a native Chinese speaker born in China and have been in Singapore since 7, currently studying at the University of Sydney. I aced my Chinese with an A1 in the Cambridge GCE O-Level and am really excited to help you learn and enjoy the language too. My lessons are all about fitting your unique learning style and goals. Everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to make sure it’s just right for you. We’ll keep things fun and interactive, using real-life examples, practice conversations, and cool multimedia resources to keep you engaged. Having grown up in China, I bring a lot of cultural insights into our lessons, helping you understand not just the language but also the traditions and nuances that come with it.

I know life can be busy, so I offer flexible scheduling to fit your timetable, making learning convenient and stress-free. My goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where you feel comfortable and confident in your learning journey.
