About Abigail
Hello! I’m Singaporean, and Chinese has always been a subject I’ve loved and excelled in at school. I also pursued a Minor in Chinese Translation at university, where I consistently achieved A- to A grades.
As someone who is currently learning a new language myself, I understand how important it is to practice regularly and build confidence through real conversations. If you need someone to speak with and don’t have opportunities to practice Chinese, I’m here to help!
I offer casual, friendly speaking sessions designed to help you improve your fluency and feel more comfortable using Chinese in everyday situations.

Each session focuses on building confidence and muscle memory in spoken Chinese through consistent conversations. Get used to listening and speaking with a native as we explore different topics based on your interests or real-life situations like shopping, travel, or school.
For beginners (and intermediate speakers if you'd like), I’ll introduce key vocabulary for you to use in our next session. I’ll also help all students keep track of any new words and phrases so you can build your own personalized vocabulary bank over time.
These sessions are designed for students who want to improve their comprehension, already have some basic background in Chinese and are able to hold simple conversations. No reading skills required.
