About Ning

Hi, My name is Ning, and you can also call me Jenny. I live in Beijing. I'm originally from north China and I speak with a standard Chinese-speaking pronunciation. I got level Ⅰ in the Mandarin Proficiency level test.

I love travelling and exploring Chinese history. I'm an experienced Chinese teacher. I really love and feel passionate about teaching Mandarin as your second language.

About the lesson

If you are learning Chinese at the very beginning, I believe a well organized class will make things easier for you, and helpful to build confidence, which is so important for beginners. I'm good at making customized materials to make learning easier and accessible. My goal is to get you comfortable with grammar and vocabulary so that you can express exactly what you want to say. I will reveal the grammar structures behind the language, so you can put your own ideas into these structures, I am always impressed by my students who can speak and describe their real lives so well.

If you have studied Chinese for a period of time, My biggest goal is for you to feel more confident speak with native Chinese speakers. Our lessons will be planned depending on what you already know and will focus on pronunciation, fluency, and informal speaking to speak more naturally.

I worked in Chinese companies for many years, so if you are looking to communicate with your Chinese co-workers or business partners, then I'm here to help you. I'm sure you will get to learn more about authentic expressions according to my understanding of chinese business culture in both formal and informal situations.

And of course, if you are preparing for an exam, we could arrange our lessons according to your aims.
