About MacKenzie
I am an educator of 10 years. I have worked with various age groups, ranging from 8-months-old to 18-years-old. My favorite part about teaching is being a witness when a learner has caught onto the lesson and has an "aha!" moment. I manage an after-school tutoring program where I have ten tutors working for me to tutor up to 65 students at a time in the after school hours. I love what I do, and I am passionate to continue offering education to anyone who would like to have it from me.

-Our first session will be spent determining the current ability level and establishing an effective way to communicate across language barriers and getting to know one another.
- Each lesson will build off of the last one, and specific topics or skills will be reviewed and rehearsed regularly to check for learning.
- English is a vast language with a lot of confusing rules. I can help make learning the language fun and engaging!
- These lessons are designed for anyone who wants to learn a new language. I can work with children who are just beginning to speak and with adults who want to increase their skills.
- I believe learning occurs only once a connection has been built. If you are looking for a tutor who genuinely cares about you, your goals, and helping you acquire a new language skill, you are looking for me!
