About Gigi

Hello! I'm Gigi, and I am originally from Tianjin, China, now living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I earned my bachelor’s degree in International Accounting from Tianjin University of Commerce and a master’s degree in Business Analytics from Boston University. I have worked and interned in several international companies such as Alibaba, Forever 21, and World Fuel Services, which gave me strong cross-cultural communication skills and a global perspective. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy connecting with students from all over the world. Whether you are a beginner who wants to start learning Mandarin, an intermediate learner aiming to improve speaking or writing, or a professional who needs business Chinese for work or exams, I can customize each lesson based on your needs to make learning efficient and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I love traveling—I’ve visited more than 50 countries! I also enjoy photography, sports, and reading books about psychology.
