About Filipa
I am a Portuguese native speaker, although I also grew up speaking English, so I am capable of understanding and clarifying any questions you may have. Learning languages has always been a passion of mine, and I am still learning new ones! So I understand all the intricacies and difficulties of learning a language whose grammar (and even alphabet!) is completely different from your own. I believe this improves my capabilities as a teacher, for a good teacher must be able to understand the students' struggles.
I have been teaching Portuguese for 4 years, and I've been a translator (trained in Portuguese language and linguistics) for 5+ years.
