About Struan

Hey there! I'm a british native currently living in Bologna and offering English conversation classes. My classes are aimed at anyone who would like to improve their English fluency and become more confident in their ability to maintain a conversation. I've been teaching English face-to-face and online for more than a year, and I've taught students, business people, teenagers... So I'm sure we'll find the correct formula that will work for you! I was born in the UK and did most of my secondary studies there. I speak four languages (and hopefully soon italian will become the fifth!).

About the lesson

I consider myself a dynamic and expressive person, which means I try to make my classes entertaining. In the classes I like incorporating debates, article or film commentary, and even games. Usually I just ask the students what topics they are interested in and how they want to improve their English. The ultimate goal is to establish fluent oral communication and give my students confidence so that they can carry on a conversation in English without difficulty. I can give classes at home, in a library, or online, whichever you prefer. I can also teach small groups, which makes the classes even more dynamic and enjoyable. Let me know if you're interested!
