I'm a sustainable artist, designer, and educator specializing in natural pigments, painting, and craft-based practices. Through hands-on, personalized lessons, I help students build artistic confidence, master techniques, and discover the beauty of creating with nature and mindful design. Art with Nature

About the lesson

I believe art is best learned through curiosity, observation, and making with your own hands. My classes are designed to help students understand not just how to create something, but why different materials, colours, and techniques behave the way they do.

I teach painting and creative practices using natural pigments, botanical colours, and sustainable materials alongside conventional art techniques. Depending on your interests, you can learn colour extraction from plants, preparing natural pigments, painting techniques, colour theory, surface design, botanical illustration, textile applications, and ways to incorporate sustainable practices into your creative work.

A typical class begins with a short introduction to the concept or technique, followed by demonstrations and guided hands-on practice. Students work on exercises and projects while receiving individual feedback throughout the session. As confidence grows, I encourage experimentation so each student develops their own artistic style rather than simply copying examples.

My teaching combines traditional craft knowledge with contemporary art and design thinking. I focus on building strong fundamentals while nurturing creativity, observation skills, and confidence. Whether your goal is to paint for enjoyment, develop a professional portfolio, explore sustainable art, or simply reconnect with nature through creativity, lessons are adapted to your pace and objectives.

Classes are suitable for school students, college students, hobbyists, artists, designers, educators, and adults of all experience levels—from complete beginners to those looking to expand their artistic practice with natural pigments and sustainable techniques.

I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging learning environment where questions are always welcome, mistakes become learning opportunities, and every student leaves with practical skills and the confidence to continue creating independently.
