About John
Hello! My name is John Huynh! I was born and raised in Connecticut, joined the military, lived in Iwakuni, Japan for 4 years and now I currently live in Orlando, Florida for my Master's of Science: Game Design. Along with my Master's degree program, I also have an internship at an indie game company, Digital Scorpion Interactive that have assisted me with getting to where I am to this day.
I have two cats
I volunteer at a cat cafe
I have created a game for a capstone project within 4 months
I love to learn languages: I currently know Vietnamese, English, and a little bit of Japanese and Cantonese

- We will go over common vocabulary, grammar structure, pronunciations, and reading comprehension
For our first day together: We will go over introductions. This will help me gauge your knowledge of the language. No need to feel intimidated! It will be a nice, warm environment to help you feel comfortable
After a couple of days, we can start learning with the media! What is your favorite show, book, or topic that you want to discuss? (This can be integrated into our first day together).
- Lessons will also consist of going over practice sentences and understanding American culture. This will help you understand when to use appropriate language and when you do not have to.
- These can be for beginner, intermediate and or college level students/hobbiest that just want to know this language.
