About Padmini
With UGC NET and JRF certification (Percentile: 99.98) and a Masters from Delhi University, I am an English Literature person who aspires to contribute meaningfully in the world, to simply complex concepts without taking away their intricacies, to discuss and respect different views and to explore the grey areas of literature with my students.
My experiences include being a short term guest lecturer to facilitate Jhumpa Lahiri's 'The Lowland' and taking part in a social outreach programme to teach English language to school students, apart from working as a freelance writer.
I did my Bachelor's from The Bhopal School of Social Sciences and have certifications in Cambridge English (Higher and Vantage) - BEC, and in creative writing.

Life is made up of several stories and literature is one such subject that takes you into the depth of life through history, philosophy, politics, economy, sociology, psychology and just about anything that underlies the reasons and meanings of why one would write, or read.
Though it seems like a daunting task at first, but, at the end of the day, all who wrote these stories were human, and can be attempted to be understood in several ways.
I aim to teach college students and students of class IX-XII for core English. My methodology would focus on subject matter understanding, critical analysis, and expression in writing. I offer to assist with exam preparation, essay writing and would be happy to conduct doubt sessions, with a proper plan and schedule to ensure both completion and enjoyment of the course content.
I look forward to meeting my students and to embark on the adventure of mutual learnings!
