About Moira

I am a novelist and published poet with over ten years of writing experience. I have worked as an editor for a small publishing house, as well as working with writers directly in the freelance market. In the educational realm, I worked for several years as a teacher's assistant at a private school, and have been tutoring for over six years. I run an online writing group to help connect authors with critique partners and offer support as we all hone our craft together. My lessons will always be a safe space for those of marginalized identities, as I myself am a proud part of the queer community. Everyone deserves a chance to tell their story, and I would be honored to help you tell yours.

About the lesson

Writing, whether academic or creative, is a skill that can be honed like any other. My goal is to meet you where you are, whether you are a total beginner or a more experienced writer, and provide you with the support you need to take your writing to the next level. After our first free meeting, I will work with you to plan out your goals for your craft, and plot out a course to help you get there. Whether you want to write a novel, a collection of short stories, or just get through your English class, I'll provide editorial help, moral support, and a way to break your goals into smaller pieces that make the journey feel manageable.
