About Twis

I started teaching after I graduated from IGCSE O Level with 9A*s. I have also graduated from GCE A Levels with 4A*s. Currently I am studying at NUS (National University of Singapore).

Fun fact about me: I love studying and teaching my friends and have gotten the wonderful opportunity to skip 2 grades in the past :)

I tutored my cousin to take 3 O Levels from scratch in 3 months homeschooled. He scored 2 A*s in such short period due to his own hard work and my relentless teaching. Now he is enrolled in design course in university.

Then I decided to hop on Superprof with my newfound interest in tutoring.

Next, I tutored a homeschooling candidate who scored A* for the subject IGCSE Malay Foreign Language. She had an amazing work ethic but needed to take the exam in less than half a year! I saw her potential and she went from knowing very little about Malay to writing full essays all by herself. She is now enrolled in a sound engineering course.

I am thankful to have gotten an opportunity to be a teacher. I have since taught 4 other students Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and English.

About the lesson

I believe in learning. To never stop learning is to keep on discovering new ways to help others learn. When everyone learns, everyone benefits!

Learn in character and learn with fun, learning as a lifestyle is my philosophy^^

My motto is based on Daisaku Ikeda of SGI:

"What our world requires now is the kind of education that fosters love for mankind, that develops character- that provides an intellectual basis for realisation of peace and empowers learners to contribute to and improve society" - Daisaku Ikeda

My Youtube Account Professor Polymer is set up for exactly this purpose. I set it up after hearing of all the children who are not privileged to learn in mainstream schooling methods and may not have access to f2f school especially during the 2020 pandemic.
