About Keara
I am a current sophomore (with junior standing in credits) at Binghamton University, majoring in biology and minoring in education. I am also an alumni of prestigious high school Stuyvesant High School. Having tutored kids for many years, and having taken many of these rigorous AP and college level courses myself, I understand the challenges students may face taking such classes, and can help the student with practice problems, test-taking strategies, class-specific resources, and more to fit their personal needs and study habits.

We can start with any practice problems you may have from classes, use practice questions from online, or the student can ask questions about any concepts from the class and test-taking tips. My lessons are flexible based on the student’s needs, learning styles, and goals for the class. For reference, I’ve helped kids in K-8 and high school settings from various backgrounds and skill levels, with English, science, algebra, and test prep for NYS tests and the SHSAT. I also can help with the SAT (scored a 1570) and AP exams (scored multiple 5 and 4s in tests including AP Calculus, Biology, Literature, and European/US History ).
