About Robert
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher, having taught within the HWDSB in Hamilton Ontario as well as within the CAIS organization at Crestwood Preparatory College. I hold three university degrees and a graduate diploma with the United Nations, and I have multiple years of TA (teaching) experience at the university level - I understand the education system and process incredibly well! Again, most important to me is the well-being and confidence of my students! I want to make sure they feel confident of who they are and their ability to learn, and excited about the incredible journey they have ahead of them!

I have taught 4th year Engineering students, 7th grade mathematics, and a whole lot in between (gr9 science and math, gr10 math, gr11/12/AP physics, 1st year eng courses, etc.) Lessons are always grounded in the real world and in the context of real life! I pride myself in getting to know my students in order to best utilize a student-centred, problem-based-learning model that insures knowledge is retained for the “final” and beyond! “Practice makes permanent, so we will definitely use practice problems to solidify skills and track progress throughout the semester! Most importantly, I am focused on building the confidence my students have in their own ability to learn - so that come next year, they won’t need my assistance!
