About Miren
I am a Zoologist, teacher and diver, passionate about the ocean.
I was born in Italy, but I grew up in Bilbao, north of Spain.
When I was 15, I moved to the UK where I finished my studies.
I love travelling, so last October I decided to move to Indonesia and now I recently moved to Australia.

I normally use an active teaching methodology, allowing my students to engage in their learning by thinking, discussing, investigating, and creating. Making learning more effective.
If needed I sometimes use some of my textbooks, but I prefer to find my material online and adapt it to the students' level.
My lessons normally are 1 hour long, but I think sometimes 45 minutes is better. Quality over quantity :)
I have a degree in Zoology (University of Bristol), a Master in Education and I am TEFL certified. I have experience with a range of different ages and levels.
