About Tshepang

Music has been my language for as long as I can remember. I studied music at school not because I had to, but because it was the only place where things made sense to me. It’s always been more than a subject it’s how I listen, process, and express.

I’m interested in teaching because I believe music is something that grows when it’s shared. Teaching allows me to slow down, listen deeply, and help others discover their own relationship with sound. I’m not interested in producing replicas of myself I’m interested in helping students trust their instincts and find their own voice.

Music gave me direction, discipline, and freedom all at once. Teaching is my way of giving that back with care, honesty, and intention.

About the lesson

I don’t teach music as a system to be mastered.
I teach it as something you already carry we just uncover it.

In my lessons, jazz, strings, and vocal improvisation are approached through listening first, feeling first, and honesty first. We slow things down enough for you to hear what’s actually happening in the music and in you.

I don’t believe in forcing a sound, copying other musicians, or hiding behind theory. Instead, we work on developing your inner pulse, your musical intuition, and your courage to respond in the moment. Technique is built, but never at the expense of truth.

These lessons are for musicians who want to stop asking “Is this right?”
and start asking “Is this real?”

If you want to sound like yourself not like everyone else
this is where that begins.
