About Melanie

As a young adult who enjoys doing Maths (regardless how terrible that may sound!), I want to transfer my skills to other students with big potential and bright futures ahead of them, and ensure that they achieve the best outcome possible! I am also fluent in Bulgarian, so if you would like to be taught in Bulgarian or if it is easier for you, don't be afraid to let me know.

About the lesson

Lessons are for any students revising for SATs, 11+ Exams, or GCSEs. Each 1 hour lesson will consist of a short test at the start of the lesson in order to establish the level of the student initially, followed by whichever topic the student would like to revise/be taught. From this information, a timetable will be created in order to plan for the lessons and exams ahead. Following this, lessons will usually consist of examples followed by practice questions for the student; a short quiz at the beginning of each following lesson to ensure the student has understood the previously revised topic. Lessons are £20 per hour. I received an 8 (A*) in Maths GCSE and am currently studying Maths A Level at Tiffin Grammar School, alongside Economics, French and Spanish. My past experience as a tutor includes: tutoring for GCSE Maths and Maths SATs. My average grade for my GCSE results was 8.5, therefore I am more than suitable to teach young children and teenagers, while also allowing them to enjoy learning and have fun whilst doing it!
