About Ata
Hello, I'm Ata Altunbulak. I'm a graduate of the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Mathematics and I've been giving private lessons to students of different ages and levels for about 9 years. During this time, I've helped many students preparing for high school and university entrance exams achieve their goals and get into their desired schools. Besides Turkish exams, I also work with students preparing for international programs and exams such as SAT, IB, AP, IGCSE, and A-Level, teaching mathematics in English. For the past two years, I've also been supporting students in Calculus, Abstract Algebra, and other university-level mathematics courses. One of the most important things for me is not just improving a student's grades, but breaking their "I can't do it" mindset and seeing that they truly can. I regularly follow up with my students during the lessons and actively participate in the process until they reach their goals.

I plan my lessons entirely individually, determining the student's level and areas of weakness. My goal is not just to solve problems, but to ensure the student truly understands the logic of the subject and, over time, becomes able to solve problems independently. In online lessons, I combine topic explanation, problem-solving, and exam practice; I regularly monitor the student's progress. I especially focus on breaking down barriers for students who have a negative attitude towards mathematics, achieving tangible progress in a short time. In addition to LGS, TYT, and AYT preparation at the middle and high school levels, I also work on international exams such as SAT, IB, and AP, as well as Calculus and advanced mathematics courses at the university level.
