About Julian

Hello and good day! :)

I am an experienced German teacher with many years of professional experience. I have been teaching online for almost 8 years now. In addition, I currently work as a teacher at a language institute for adults, where I teach a C1 German language course. I have also worked for 1.5 years at a school as an integration assistant and for 2 years at a tutoring institute, so I have experience working with younger learners.

Thanks to the experience I gained during my studies, I can bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to my lessons. In particular, my studies in German as a foreign and second language enable me to help students with a migrant background, as this course offers a broad perspective on the problems of learning German from a foreign and multilingual point of view.

German is my first language, so I can teach from this perspective—but I am also good at responding to people who have a different linguistic background. I enjoy teaching people the German language, am very interested in languages myself, and look forward to every new contact I can find here!

About the lesson

My lessons are aimed at school and university students, but also at anyone else who wants to improve their German language skills. I offer targeted preparation for exams, tests, and written exams, but I can also offer individual courses on various topics. I am happy to help people prepare to maintain a certain language level.

I often involve learners in the lesson planning at the start of a new unit. I formulate common learning goals, which are then worked on in the following lessons. After consolidating the results, which can be recorded in the new unit, the aim is to reflect on what has been learned so that automatic responses can be reinforced and the learning content remains in the mind.

It is important to me that learners think about their own learning. After my courses, they can also acquire strategies and methods for improvement in the target language themselves. I like to provide my students with a broad knowledge base and work with a wide variety of materials. I believe that sometimes it is not enough to be a good teacher, but that it can also be helpful to take on the role of a good trainer who can motivate learners to learn the language.
