About Jaid
I am a 3rd year Medical Sciences doctorate student currently studying at the University of Oxford. I have a masters in Immunology (Imperial College London), and a bachelors in Biochemistry (University of Essex). I have studied biology from A-level through to university level and able to teach at various levels. I also have 5 years + of lab experience for anyone wanting an insight into the type of practicals carried out at university level for coursework and the infamous dissertation research projects.
My current research focuses on:

Virology
STIs
I can teach GCSE and AS/A-level Biology and Chemistry, as well as eager primary school children looking for a better understanding in prep for secondary school life.

My classes need to be centered around what you don't know, have struggle understanding or maybe just want a crash course in. We can go as slowly or as fast as you need but personally I think slow and steady wins the race.
I can also suggest research papers and/or break them down to help students intimidated by them. Independent learning and confidence have been key to my own personal successes and so I encourage that.
