About Dan
I have been teaching philosophy for Oxford University Department for Continuing Education for over ten years. This is the outreach arm of Oxford University so I am experienced in teaching students, academics and non-academics. My classes are friendly, fun and fascinating. My main areas of interest are Ethics, Political Philosophy, Freewill, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Religion, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art, Plato, Kant and Wittgenstein.

I explain things clearly and engage in plenty of discussion with students. I help students feel comfortable asking any questions that are on their mind. I encourage students to question their own current beliefs and to deepen understanding of the foundations of the subject. Once you understand the foundations everything else becomes more straightforward.
