About Kirsty

I have been in mainstream education for over 20 years and have left to set up my own home based learning centre which uses kinaesthetic activities. We focus primarily on promoting well-being amongst young people especially those who may have a barrier to learning.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are based very much on hands on activities which are fun as well as teaching the fundamentals on each topic taught. I aim to eradicate barriers children may have built themselves and encourage them to understand we all learn differently and at different speeds. I aim to break down the wall of negative thinking of 'I can't do it!' when it comes to learning.
