About Yasith

I am an Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate at the University of Peradeniya, one of Sri Lanka's most prestigious engineering institutions. I teach STEM subjects to learners of all ages and levels — from young students taking their first steps in science to university students working through complex engineering concepts.
My teaching is built on clarity and genuine understanding. I don't believe in memorization — I believe in making concepts click. Every lesson is structured, well-paced, and tailored to the individual student, combining clear explanation with hands-on application so that knowledge is not just learned but retained.
Having recently worked through many of these concepts myself, I understand exactly where students struggle and how to guide them past those points with confidence. My sessions are professional, reliable, and fully adapted to each student's goals — whether that's passing an important exam, building a project, or simply developing a passion for STEM.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Robotics Tutor
I am an Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate at the University of Peradeniya, and I teach robotics to learners of all ages and levels — from children building their first robot to teens preparing for competitions and adults exploring the field professionally.
My teaching is practical and concept-driven. I focus on helping students truly understand how robots work — the mechanics, the electronics, and the programming — rather than simply following instructions. Every lesson uses real projects and hands-on challenges to bring concepts to life in a way that is engaging and memorable.
A typical lesson begins with a recap of previous work, moves into a clear explanation of the new concept, and finishes with a practical activity where the student applies what they have learned. Progress is steady, structured, and always matched to the student's own pace and goals.
Having studied these concepts at an advanced level myself, I know exactly where students get stuck and how to explain things clearly and simply. My lessons are flexible, delivered online, and open to complete beginners as well as those looking to go deeper into robotics.
