About Caleb
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MPhys degree. My passion lies in bridging physics with the study of living systems. Over the years, I have guided students through biophysics, where the principles of motion, energy, and matter meet the complexity of life. I specialise in areas such as molecular motors, membrane transport, nerve impulses, and biomechanics. These are fascinating topics that show how the same physical laws driving the cosmos also govern processes inside living organisms. By breaking down these subjects into clear steps, I make them accessible and exciting for learners at all levels. I have worked with biology students, pre-med students, and anyone curious about the physical underpinnings of life. Many of my students come with strong interests in medicine or biological sciences but often struggle to see how physics fits in. My role is to make those connections clear and engaging. In lessons, I balance theory with examples from real biological processes. I encourage students to visualise concepts, ask questions, and see how physics can be used to explain the mechanics of life itself. This approach builds confidence while deepening curiosity. My teaching is structured yet flexible, always adapting to the pace and needs of each student. I support learners in mastering both the physics content and its direct applications in biological contexts. For me, the joy of teaching comes from showing how physics reveals the intricate workings of life. Together, we will explore how the laws of physics illuminate the mysteries of biology.

My teaching approach in Physics is centred on making complex ideas clear and memorable. In my lessons, I often combine theory with practical applications and thought experiments. I encourage students to analyse problems step by step and reflect on their reasoning. For Inventors and Tech Enthusiasts, I bring in real-world examples and innovative ideas that connect physics to technology and discovery. My sessions are interactive, engaging, and supportive. I guide students patiently, providing the tools they need to refine their understanding of the cosmos. Each lesson is designed to build confidence in discussing, explaining, and applying physics.
