I like to start by getting to know my students, what their needs are and what obstacles are standing in the way of their learning journey. We can then draw a plan together and I will invest time in preparing tailored material for our lessons.
Lessons may focus on clear explanations of subjects, in a safe environment where the student feels comfortable asking any kind of question, or be more exercise oriented. I can support the students to find a studying approach that works for them.
In addition to past experience as a science tutor, I worked for 10+ years in biotechnological research in industry. Junior staff have grown in confidence and independence under my management.
