About Mpho
Hello, my name is Mpho, and I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor passionate about helping learners achieve their academic goals. I specialize in teaching Mathematics to Grade 4-9 learners and strive to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels confident to ask questions and grow.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding each learner's individual needs and adapting lessons to suit their learning style. I am a dedicated and patient Mathematics tutor offering lessons for Grade 4 to Grade 9 learners. My teaching approach focuses on making Mathematics simple, engaging, and easy to understand. I believe every learner can succeed when lessons are adapted to their individual learning style and pace.
My methodology involves breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using practical examples, and providing plenty of opportunities for practice and revision. I focus on building strong foundational skills, improving problem-solving abilities, and increasing learners' confidence in Mathematics.
I am proficient in English and conduct lessons in English. I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the lesson.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous work, explanation of new concepts, worked examples, guided practice, and independent exercises to reinforce understanding. I also assist with homework, assignments, test preparation, and exam revision.
