Look, if you loved art, you’d already be doing it. And committing four years and tens of thousands of dollars to learn art when you don’t love it is absolute madness.
That being said, there are art schools that don’t require a portfolio for admissions. Most of them are terrible, but a few are decent.

How can you be good in art?
The key to be good at anything is consistency, draw daily specially the things you are bad at.

Colour mixing ( if you are into paintings)
Values
Now if you are done with basics, watch Timelapse videos of other artists drawing. One tip I will give you is try to recreate some old masters work that will help you in understanding basics better.
Another thing that works like charm is live sketching. Basic use any object put light over it and then draw it, that will help you in understanding lights, Shadow better
Also don't just draw eyes if you are into portraits draw full faces, that way you will improve faster
