About Yamini
I am a PhD in Biotechnology and have worked in research and academic environments associated with institutions like AIIMS and ICMR projects. Although I come from a strong scientific and research background, I realized that teaching is where I connect best with students and create real impact.
For the past 10+ years, I have been teaching Biology and Science to school students, NEET aspirants, and undergraduate students. Over time, teaching became more than a profession for me - it became something I genuinely enjoy and want to grow long-term.
I believe Biology should not feel like a subject to memorize. My goal is to make concepts simple, visual, logical, and easy to retain for exams as well as real understanding.
I have taught students from India, the US, and the UK through both online and offline classes. I also create Biology educational content on YouTube through my channel “Biology with Dr. Yamini.”
My qualifications include:
• PhD in Biotechnology
• CSIR-NET AIR 104
• GATE Biotechnology Qualified
If you are looking for a teacher who combines strong academic knowledge with simple explanations and supportive mentoring, I would love to help you in your learning journey.

Yamini has been my friend since college, and I’ve known her as an excellent teacher ever since. Even during our college days, we used to study together, and she was the one who would patiently explain lessons to all of us.
She is a highly regarded biology teacher, and her way of teaching makes complex concepts easy to understand. I would wholeheartedly recommend the superprof Community to anyone considering biology classes with her.View more recommendations
