About Lucy
"Physics often feels like a collection of abstract rules until you realise it is just a language describing the world. Studying as a PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge allows me to bridge the gap between theoretical derivations and practical problem solving.
During my 4 years of experience, I have found that students perform better when they move past simple memorisation to a solid grasp of kinematics and optics. My approach focuses on creating structured mental models that hold steady when you face high pressure exam scenarios. This strategy helps university bound learners navigate complex graph interpretation and Olympiad level challenges with confidence. I enjoy working with intermediate students who want to see the logic behind every formula."

"Visualising the trajectory of a particle through a lens provides a clarity that standard textbooks frequently miss. As someone currently working on a PhD at the University of Cambridge, I translate high level concepts into manageable steps for my students. We will move through derivation work together so you no longer have to rely on rote memorisation during your board exams. I provide free access to my personal derivation and formula notes to help reinforce our work outside of class time.
These materials simplify the heavy lifting associated with exam preparation and competition entrance tasks. It is actually quite satisfying to see the exact moment a student gains clarity on a difficult concept."
