About Michael
I have a PhD in Math, during the acquisition of which taught College Algebra, as well as Calc 1,2,3 and Analysis. In high school I worked at a Kumon tutoring center with middle- and high-schoolers of all levels of interest. I've volunteer tutored math in prisons and at homeless shelters, as well as in various grade-school classroom settings. I've also worked at multiple math summer camps, geared towards different levels of ability, working with keeping kids engaged and excited about math. I've worked with all kinds of kids, all levels of ability and interest.

Classroom math might look like one of the most boring fields there is, but the skill of being able to process and understand how the world works in this way can be interesting on its own! The more you tie the questions you have to the real world and develop your imagination, the easier it will be and the more "real" and interesting it will hopefully feel as well.
