About Aakanksha
Being a military kid, I’ve had to change 13 schools my entire life. The exposure led me to being adaptable to any kind of environment. I have been a student all throughout, with having done 12 years of regular school, 4 years of undergraduate studies, 2 years of masters and now a PhD. I moved halfway across the world from India to the US to pursue professional studies. I understand the pressures a student faces as I’m facing them too. I would like to make life easier for those struggling to find a purpose. I want to be a mentor to students who have the ability, but need the skills to harness their potential to the maximum.

I can safely say that teaching runs in my blood. My mother has been a college and high school teacher all her life. My grandfather was a professor of English Literature and the dean of a university. I teach with a passion so students not only learn efficiently, but also apply that understanding effectively. Although I’m an engineer, I still love to teach grammar and other related subjects. Students would not be bored in my class as I try to make it as interactive and interesting as possible. There will always be a message to take away. I enjoy watching the growth of my students and so I try my best to teach them everything I know.
