About Jie
I am a PhD. student in Mathematics science and have completed a double degree in University of Adelaide and my degrees are Engineering and Mathematics science.
My ATAR score is 92.50 and I finished Specialist Math abd MATHEMATICS Methods at outstanding grade in year 11 and received multiple subject award and Australian Mathematics Competition High Distinction in high school. I have helped my high classmates improve their results significantly over 1 semester.
I am a good listener so benefiting from this, I could understand students need and provide them desired help. I also can share my experience as students to give them useful suggestions or tips for tests and exams. There is a proverb says: ” Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
I am a Chinese background student I can teach you in both English and Chinese so if you would like to communicate in Chinese, I am also capable and looking forward to see you!

I approach topics by creating a big picture what it is about, maybe linking some realistic situations that involves this topic so they get the true feelings rather than just words. Then I will break it down to subtopics and describe then fundamental theory first then getting into the complicated part as time progresses. Meanwhile, I am going to listen to students' feedback and adjust the teaching process.
