About Gregor
I started studying theoretical physics and math in 2012, with a lot of curiosity about nature, and soon found interest also in teaching and pedagogy. Since 2014 I've been working as a university tutor while studying for my bachelor's and master's degrees. In 2019 I became a doctorate student and tutoring became part of my profession. I've always had the most fun with science when talking to interested people and exchanging knowledge, so in 2022 I decided to become a full-time tutor. In my 11 years of tutoring, I've always enjoyed in particular to find explanations and solutions to my students' questions that are adapted to their specific interests, their context and their base knowledge, and that fill the gaps that are sometimes so hard to fill with only lectures and books. My journey in academia led me deeper and deeper into fundamental physics and my research and publication about the dynamics of strong electric and magnetic fields (e.g. in high-energy lasers or certain types of stars) has helped me a lot to understand and navigate the wide landscape of theoretical physics in the language of quantum field theory. (In such systems a lot of different concepts become relevant: Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Relativity)

I design my classes around your precise questions. The goal is to understand both the technical details, as well as their application to the science that is interesting to you. My teaching techniques build on examples and exercises that I have created in my 11 years as a university tutor. If you need additional material to practice, I am happy to provide you with exercises that fit your precise context! On top of the hourly paid tutorials, my offer includes that you can ask me questions that may arise before or after our lessons by text for free. I work with a digital pencil and whiteboard where we can create our own notes or import your material. After our lessons I will send you the whiteboard as a PDF file. I hope you will ask me all the questions that you encounter in your studies, no matter how small or big. I will do my best to find answers with you!

I had the pleasure to be a colleague of Gregor for several years during my Ph.D studies. He is an exceptionally smart person, with a very deep understanding of physics as well as mathematics. I have collaborated with Gregor in an advanced project on quantum field theory.
